The mission
Give any founder — solo, bootstrapped, side-project, whatever stage — a free startup directory to say "I built this" and have real people browse today's startup launches, vote on them, and click through to them. That's it. No growth-hacking funnel, no "premium visibility" tier, no review queue deciding who's worthy of a startup listing.
Why we built a free startup directory
This site used to work differently: startups paid to rank higher on the leaderboard, and the bid amount wasn't even shown. That's backwards for a startup submission platform meant to help small, early founders get a fair shot — so it got torn out and rebuilt as a genuinely free startup directory instead. Post a name, a URL, and a one-line pitch to submit your startup. That's the whole submission form.
What we actually believe
- Free, forever. No account to make, no card to enter, no plan to upgrade to.
- Real votes. One per person, enforced quietly in the background — not one per wallet.
- Honest credit. When someone shares a listing, the link they share points at the real startup — not just back to us.
- Privacy by default. No ad trackers, no selling data, no cookies you didn't ask for. See the privacy policy for the specifics.
- Kept clean. Spam, scam links, and casino ads get pulled — actively, not just when someone complains — so genuine founders aren't drowning next to junk.
Frequently asked questions
Is Share Your Startup really free?
Yes. Posting and voting are free, with no account. There is one optional extra: free listings go public 72 hours after posting (6 hours if you share your listing, 24 if your site links back to us with our badge), and you can pay $2.99 to publish yours right away and pin it to the top of the New tab for 7 days, clearly labelled Featured (see the terms). The Top and Weekly rankings are based only on votes and can't be bought.
Do I need to create an account to submit my startup?
No. Just a startup name, a URL, and a one-line pitch — that's the entire submission form.
How does voting work?
One vote per person per listing, enforced quietly in the background using a privacy-preserving check — not tied to any account, since there aren't any.
Can I edit or remove my listing after posting?
Not yet through the site itself — listings can't be self-edited once posted. Email info@celikovic.xyz if something needs fixing or taking down.
Is my data private?
Yes — see the full privacy policy. Short version: no raw IP addresses stored, no accounts, no ad trackers.
What happens to spam or scam submissions?
They're actively filtered and removed — bot checks, link-safety checks, and moderation rules run before (and after) a listing goes live.
